Gus Wortham Fountain by FinijoThe Gus Wortham Fountain on Allen Parkway is one of my favorite fountains in Houston. It looks like a dandelion, and when the wind is blowing hard, it looks like a dandelion being blown apart.
Gus Wortham Fountain 2 by FinijoI'm not sure if I enjoy it more when it is sunny and beautiful, or when it is overcast and melancholic. Regardless of the weather conditions, the symmetry of the structure is what gets me every time I look at it.
