To photograph your gohonzon is big no no! You should talk to one of the leaders about this. Obviously you have not been introduced to the practice in a way that respects yourself and the gohonzon.
I appreciate your concern for my self-respect. I know it must be difficult for you to be so judgemental, that you feel compelled to anonymously leave and extremely rude public comment on what is clearly a joyous moment in my life. In an effort to respect myself, the Gohonzon, and my practice, I will chant for you to develop better communication skills and to learn how to nurture new members so that they learn love and tolerance within the practice, rather than leaving the practice to find what they are seeking from another organization.
Hello, i am a fellow SGI member from Singapore.
It's true that you really should not photograph the Gohonzon especially when the scroll can be seen directly.
:)
Please ask your leaders about it and read up about it.
Have a good day :)
